The European Institute for Gender Equality is organising the first-ever EIGE Gender Equality Forum (#EGEF2022).
The Forum will provide a platform to share evidence and expertise related to gender equality issues with a collective of high-level political decision-makers, practitioners and members of civil society. The event will feature various panel discussions, practical workshops, and experience sharing sessions. In addition, the results of EIGE’s annual Gender Equality Index will be released during the Forum, with a specific focus on the impact of COVID-19 on informal care, work-life balance, care services and working conditions of women and men.
The Forum will take place on 24 October from 10.00 CET to 17.40 CET and 25 October from 10.00 CET to 13.20 CET in the conference centre THE EGG BRUSSELS and on a virtual interactive platform. The interactive platform will offer the same interaction possibilities as in-person attendance: virtual networking, Q&A, polls and discussions on chat, and the opportunity to record spoken video statements.
